Cotswold Carp
Event 2011
On Sunday 27th
February, Born and Bred Carp Gear held the Cotswold Carp Event 2011
at Hoburne Cotswold which proved to be yet another successful show!
Over 200 anglers came from all over the country and Europe to listen
to one of the UK’s most prestigious anglers - Jason Hayward
- and his first ever presentation with video footage (never been
seen in public before) on the capture of the Black Mirror along with
his extensive pictorial coverage of his other fishing exploits.
There were lots
of exhibitors and stands demonstrating new products and techniques:
Trakker, Korda, JAG products, Dave Gawthorn Books, Tom Bankes, The
Carp Society, Cotswold Rods, Bankside Tackle, Born and Bred Carp
Gear and Baitworks.
We are delighted
to announce that the Cotswold Carp Event 2011 raised £1300
which will be used to benefit the local Water Park angling
community. Last year’s proceeds went to providing Ashton Keynes
Angling Club with 26 fantastic carp that were stocked into Cokes Pit
on the Cotswold Water Park.
So thank you to
all of you who came along on the night, the exhibitors and companies
who provided the raffle prizes as well as Korda, Trakker, Carp
Forum, Cemex Forum, Baitworks, The Tackle Den and The Standard
Newspaper for helping us to advertise the event. We now look forward
to the next Cotswold Carp Event 2012.
